Large Hailstones and Broad Damage

Residents witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to seven centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Health officials warned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the current weather patterns.
